Amina Hassan is very passionate about education. Having taught humanities with a specialisation in Geography for over 12 years in a variety of schools in the UK and Middle East. Amina fully understands the importance of engaging youth in discussions and harnessing their enquiring minds as a key need in the global arena as well as classroom. Since joining THIMUN Amina has been able to witness just this; the fundamental training that is essential to becoming a MUN delegate affords students the opportunities to engage in topics that are most relevant today. Education is part of Amina’s core values having graduated with a BA (hons) in Geography from the University of London and then with an MA in Human Rights and Social change from City University London. Amina believes learning never stops it is only the classroom that changes.
