Only Experienced Individuals. If your school already has a MUN Club, kindly contact your MUN-Director and register through your school.
Delegates will debate in committee rooms with highly trained student officers, and work directly with global experts to help resolve the issues on the agenda.
All students will have the opportunity to contribute to advocacy education, and will be offered the chance to work with summer voluntary programs that actively work to achieve the SDGs.
Fees for THIMUN Qatar are QAR 800 for all delegates, Student officers and Press members, and a reduced price for admin and IT. More information to be published soon!
THIMUN Qatar is also pleased to host its sixth Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) using Rules of Procedure that more accurately reflect the workings of this body. Delegates will find much that is similar between traditional MUN and the procedures of the CCPCJ, but there are several significant differences: no voting (but rather, the application of the Vienna consensus, an informal practice used in negotiations on draft resolutions), line by line review of the draft resolution, and the submission of the resolution to the Economic and Social Council, who will vote to approve the resolution.
